Card Artisan 0.6.0


A new version of Card Artisan is here! It brings a lot of new content for veteran players including a new adventurer variant, 4 new equipment, 9 new card effects, new events, and a new card upgrade mechanic! Not to mention a plethora of bugfixes and other quality-of-life features, enjoy!

-Fixed card packs not working as intended.

-Rebalanced crafting cost for discard effects.

-Fixed bug where mods with only 10 images per class would cause some variants to break.

-Fixed bug where Venom would cause the Gorey Greatsword to trigger twice.

-Fixed gems sometimes displaying incorrect values.

-Fixed issue where minions with 0 resistance dying on play when an effect that further lowered their resistance would cause them not to trigger their on-death effects.

-Added bindable keys in the settings menu.

-Optimized several aspects of the card objects to improve performance.

-Optimized tooltip system to prevent unnecessary checks and vastly improve performance when displaying them.

-Optimized miscellaneous visual elements to improve performance.

-New card back art!

-General improvements to the AI.

-Added nine new card effects to the card effect pool.

-Added four new relics. (Pauldrons of Perspicacity - Insignia of Inspiration - Runestone of Rapid Recovery - Savior's Sword)

-Rebalanced the Mace of the Meek equipment.

-Rebalanced the Mittens of Migth equipment.

-Rebalanced the cape of Courage equipment.

-Fixed issue where some effects wouldn't be correctly displayed on the targeting text reminder textbox.

-Fixed issue where the AI would sometimes target a minion with a damaging spell that wouldn't be enough to kill that minion.

-Fixed issue where randomly generated names would exclude some options when generating a card name resulting in less name variety.

-Fixed issue where deselecting some active timings when crafting wouldn't correctly enable all the compatible effects.

-Fixed issue where milled cards wouldn't be properly counted for Quests.

-Fixed issue where the game wouldn't immediately delete your save after losing in combat.

-Slightly reworked and improved the Reserve Rations equipment.

-Fixed visual issue where hovering over cards in your hand while adding new cards to the hand would cause errors in the position of the card.

-Added a slider controller for mods that allows the player to decide how likely custom card names are to happen.

-Reworked the way mods work allowing you to use as many images as you want on creation, while only utilizing a random pool of 10 images per type for each run.

-Increased the maximum deck size from 40 to 60.

-Fixed issue where the in-combat deck list wouldn't fully load in some instances.

-Rebalanced and reduced variance on gold and experience meta-progression items.

-Added a frame limit to the main menu.

-Added scaling to some Luck event values for higher difficulties.

-Added a new luck event.

-Added a new card upgrade mechanic. (It will be expanded upon in the next update)

-Restored card pack button color matching the card color functionality.

-Improved the way tooltips are displayed when opening card packs.

-Added an indicator for shop cards to show how many copies of each card you already own.

-Fixed issue where your vault wouldn't be saved in some instances.

-Updated title screen.

-Improved the Flashy Fatigues equipment to scale with difficulty.

-Added FPS counter option to the options menu.
